The "TOEFL iBT 2026 Updates" online workshop, organized through the collaboration of the BARÜ School of Foreign Languages International Exam Center and the ETS Turkey Office, was held on February 17, 2026, with broad participation.

During the workshop, Zeynep Oğul-Akın, ETS EMEA Academic Programs and ELT Manager, shared comprehensive information regarding the updated TOEFL iBT test format, content structure, and scoring system effective as of 2026. Following the presentation, essential details regarding exam administration processes were clarified based on participant inquiries.

The event brought together a diverse group of stakeholders, including:

• BARÜ Academic Staff and students.

• English Language Teachers working in schools under the Ministry of National Education (MEB).

By connecting university staff and MEB educators in an online environment, the workshop served as a vital platform for knowledge sharing and professional development.

At the conclusion of the workshop, a certificate of appreciation was presented to Zeynep Oğul-Akın on behalf of Bartın University.
