The online workshop titled “TOEFL iBT 2026 Updates” was held on February 17, 2026, in collaboration with the BARU School of Foreign Languages International Exam Center and the ETS Turkey Office.

During the workshop, Zeynep Oğul-Akın, ETS EMEA Academic Programs and ELT Manager, shared detailed information about the updated TOEFL iBT test format, content structure, and scoring system to be implemented as of 2026. Following the presentation, questions from participants about exam administration processes were answered.

The event brought together BARU academic staff and students, as well as English language teachers working at schools under the Ministry of National Education. By bringing university staff, students, and MEB teachers together in an online setting, the workshop provided an opportunity for knowledge sharing and professional development.

At the end of the workshop, a certificate of appreciation was presented to Zeynep Oğul-Akın on behalf of Bartın University. Bartın University continues to support activities that contribute to international examination practices, academic collaboration, and professional development.
