The "Language Café" activities, which take language learning beyond the classroom walls and offer our students a social practice space, have been launched as part of the cooperation protocol signed between our School of Foreign Languages and the Faculty of Literature.
By integrating language learning into campus life, these events aim to transform foreign language practice from an academic requirement into a natural part of daily life. Our students have the opportunity to improve their speaking skills in an interactive environment while connecting with peers from various academic disciplines.
A highlight of this week’s session was the participation of upper-class students who successfully completed our English Preparatory Program in previous years. This unique dynamic provided several benefits:
Mentorship: Current preparatory students received firsthand advice and tips regarding their education process from experienced peers.
Networking: A strong social network was formed by bringing together students from different levels and departments.
Sense of Belonging: The interaction between alumni of the prep program and new students strengthened the sense of community and campus identity.
Guided by the shared vision of the School of Foreign Languages and the Faculty of Literature, Language Café gatherings will continue periodically throughout the semester.
We invite all our students to enhance their language proficiency in a friendly conversation atmosphere and become a part of this dynamic community.
